How Secure is online banking?
Online banking is very secure. To ensure you that you are entering a secure area, here are some of the safeguards taken:
Password - you can only review personal information about your account after you give your secret password that only you will know.
Privacy policies - Our privacy policies are stringent and enforced. We insist that our employees and vendors adhere to them, and we post them on our web site for your review.
Encryption software - "cryptographic software" makes it possible to scramble a message between two parties (you and your bank), in a way that allows the message to be decoded only by the two parties.

Are there any extra safety measures that I should take when using online banking?
Yes, there are a couple of things you can do. Always use the exit button when you have completed a session. This ensures that anyone else using your computer will not be able to gain access to your account information. For added security, empty your computer's cache after each online banking session. This stores copies of the pages you have viewed, and should be emptied. To learn how to do this, see either your browser's or online banking's online help. One of the most important things you can do, is to not give your password out to anybody! This is the key to your account, and it shouldn't be shared with anyone.

Can I access my account information at any time?
Yes, with online banking, you can access your account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
